How does film protect a surface?
It's a sacrificial wear layer. The film — clear, or matched to your existing finish — bonds over the surface, so scratches, scuffs, UV and spills land on the film instead of the material underneath. When the film has done its job, it's the film you renew, not the surface.
Will it change how my surface looks?
Only if you want it to. Clear protection films preserve the look you already have; alternatively we match the existing finish from a library of 200+ premium films. Either way, the result is specified against your surface before anything is applied.
How long does the protection last?
Our finish films are backed by the manufacturers' own guarantees against cracking, yellowing and delamination — up to 10 years. Clear protection films are specified per surface and application, and we'll tell you the honest number for yours before you commit.
What happens if the film gets damaged?
That's the point — the film took the damage so your surface didn't. The affected panel is re-wrapped, typically in hours, at a fraction of what repairing or replacing the surface itself would cost.
Can you protect kitchen worktops?
Yes, with an honest caveat: film protects hardest on vertical and furniture surfaces — doors, panels, joinery, desks. Worktops can be wrapped and protected too, and with sensible care (boards for cutting, trivets for hot pans) they hold up well. We'll tell you plainly what your surface can expect.
What does it cost?
A fraction of what repairing or replacing a damaged surface costs — protection is the cheap insurance. Every space is different, so we visit, measure and show you samples first, then prepare an accurate estimate. The visit carries a call-out fee, credited back against your deposit when you go ahead.
