A headboard wall in linen weave. Panelling in soft suede. A pale oak that runs from the bed onto the wardrobe fronts. We install premium architectural film over the walls and joinery you already have — in situ, in days rather than the weeks a renovation takes, for up to 70% less than replacing the same elements.
No demolition, no dust, no room out of action for weeks. You sleep in the house while it happens, and the finish is warrantied in writing when we hand it back.
Five ways film changes a bedroom.
All five are done in film, over what is already there — which is why they are measured in days rather than weeks.
The Framed Headboard Wall
Moulding frames a panel behind the bed and a textured film fills it — a linen weave, a suede effect, a soft grain. It gives you the custom built-in look without building anything into the wall, and the frame does the quiet work of pulling the whole room towards the bed.
The Full Feature Wall
One continuous finish behind the bed, floor to ceiling and corner to corner. No dado to break it up and no joins to read — a single calm field of colour or grain. It is the hotel-suite move, and the fastest of the lot: one wall, wrapped in situ, room back in use the same week.
Soft-Touch Materials
Leather, suede and linen-effect films bring upholstery warmth to a room that usually only gets paint. The embossed ranges carry the texture under your hand — and unlike upholstery they wipe clean with a damp cloth and a mild household cleaner. Nothing to re-cover, nothing to send away.
The Two-Tone Scheme
Panelling in one tone and the wardrobe wall in another; a pale grain behind the bed against a deep matte everywhere else. Because we measure and price element by element, a mixed scheme is as straightforward to cost — and to check against your quote — as a single finish across the room.
The Joinery & the Furniture
Built-ins and freestanding pieces alike: dressing tables, pedestals and side tables, pedestal-height panelling, wardrobe fronts — and a dated headboard itself, renewed rather than replaced. Bring them onto one finish and the room reads as a single commission instead of a set of separate purchases. Each piece is assessed on its own at the measure-up, and we say plainly where a surface should not be wrapped.
Three families carry most bedrooms.
A bedroom is judged at close range, by hand, and in two very different lights. Over 1,500 finishes are open to you — these are the three we reach for first.
Textile & Leather
Linen weaves, leather and suede effects give warmth to panelling, headboard walls and feature joinery. This is the family built for exactly this room — and the one most worth judging by hand rather than on a screen.
Wood & Natural
Pale oaks, limed ashes and dark walnuts settle a bedroom down. A grain can run straight off the headboard wall onto wardrobe fronts and door leaves, so the joinery and the walls belong to each other.
Solid Colour
Soft-touch and textured solids: a deep matte behind the bed, an off-white everywhere else. One uninterrupted tone with no visible joints, no spray booth and no paint fumes in an occupied room.

What owners ask about bedrooms.
Is wrapping a bedroom disruptive to live with?
Not in the way a renovation is. Everything happens in situ — no demolition, no dust and no skip in the driveway — so nothing is stripped out and the rest of the house carries on around us. Most bedroom projects run two to four days — where a renovation of the same room runs into weeks — floors and furniture are protected before a blade comes out, and the crew that starts the room is the crew that finishes it.
Can we wrap just the headboard wall?
Yes, and it is the most common way to start. The wall behind the bed is the one that changes how the whole room reads, so finishing it alone — framed in moulding, or run floor to ceiling — is a complete piece of work in its own right. Panelling, dressing tables and wardrobe fronts can follow later on the same film, because the exact reference is named on your quote.
Do the leather and linen films actually feel soft?
They carry an embossed texture you can feel under your hand — the weave of a linen, the grain of a leather — rather than a flat printed picture of one. We will not tell you it is hide or cloth. It is architectural film, engineered to be touched and cleaned every day, which is exactly why it suits a wall you lean against every night. Judge it by hand at the measure-up.
How do we choose a finish for a bedroom?
In the room, in the room’s own light. We bring the film brands’ sample books to the measure-up and hold them against your walls — a grain that reads warm in the morning can read grey under a bedside lamp, and a bedroom is lived in at both. The visit ends with the choice settled and the reference written down, and our films are warrantied by their manufacturers against cracking, peeling and fade for up to 10 years.

own surfaces.
Send a few details and we will arrange a visit to measure the room and hold samples against your walls, then prepare a written, itemised estimate.
