A Gym That Feels Like a High-End,
Luxury Experience.

Members make up their minds about a gym in the walk from the door to the floor — the front desk, the corridor, the wall the studio faces. Wrapt Interiors™ re-skins those surfaces in premium architectural film: the branding wall, reception, studio walls, doors and corridors, the dry joinery in the changing rooms and the juice bar counter. The equipment stays exactly where it is.

Nothing is stripped out and nothing leaves in a skip. The work is done in situ and programmed around your opening hours, typically for up to 70% less than replacing the same elements — and most single areas are a matter of days rather than weeks. You get honest counsel with it: the scope is drawn at the survey, element by element, before you spend.

Five ways a gym changes without closing.

The kit stays, the layout stays, the membership keeps training. Only the surfaces change — and they change around your early mornings and late nights.

01

The Branding Wall

The wall members stand in front of between sets, and the one that ends up in their photographs. Run a brand tone across it full height, or set a deep matte block behind the logo so the mark reads from the far end of the floor. We specify from over 1,500 finishes to get close to your palette, and hold the shortlist against that wall under your own lights first.

02

Reception & Front Desk

The desk front, the counter, the wall behind it and the doors on the way in are what a prospective member studies while they wait to be signed up. Wrapped face and edge onto joinery already standing, they come onto one palette in days rather than the weeks a fit-out takes — the composition a fit-out would charge you for, with no cabinetry ordered.

03

Studio Walls That Set the Tone

A spin room and a yoga studio want opposite things from the same square metres. Deep solids in near-black or forest hold the light down where a class wants intensity; a poured-concrete look keeps a strength studio calm and industrial; a warm oak grain softens a reformer or mat room. One finish, run wall to wall, changes what a room asks of the person standing in it.

04

The Dry Side of the Changing Room

Lockers, vanity fronts, bench joinery, doors and the corridor walls leading in — the dry side of a changing area is usually what dates the space, and it is where film does its best work. Away from the showers, that joinery comes back onto the same palette as reception and the studios, wrapped face and edge in a matter of days. Where the scope falls in your building is settled on the walk-round.

05

Programmed Around Opening Hours

Gyms open early and close late, so the working window is narrow and it gets planned rather than assumed. Most of our commercial work runs after hours, over weekends or through a shutdown period, and larger facilities are phased so only one area is out of use at a time. Access windows are agreed with your facilities team before the first roll is cut.

Choosing the family

Which finish family suits a gym.

Three families do most of the work here. The question they answer is what a member should feel walking in, before a single weight has moved.

Solids for brand energy. Matte, satin and textured solid colours are the cleanest way to put your brand on a wall at scale, and they hold a large plane without pattern fighting the graphics or the mirrors in front of them. A single deep tone behind reception and a stronger one on the feature wall is usually the whole scheme.

Concrete and stone for the industrial read. Poured-concrete, terrazzo and honed stone looks give a strength floor the raw, serious character it wants. They reward a generous run — a full wall, or a whole corridor — because the pattern needs room before it reads as material rather than as print. It goes on in situ, with no templating and no tear-out.

Wood for the softer studios. Oak, ash and walnut grains are what a yoga, pilates or recovery room reaches for, and the embossed ranges hold the grain as texture under the hand rather than as a printed picture. One timber can run from a studio wall through the corridor to the juice bar counter — and be wiped down with a damp cloth at close.

Good questions

What gym owners and facilities teams ask us.

Can members keep training while you work?

Usually, yes. Most of our commercial work is programmed after hours, over weekends or through a shutdown period, and larger facilities are phased so only one area is out of use at a time — the rest of the floor keeps trading while we work. Access windows are planned with your facilities team before the first roll is cut. Single areas are a matter of days rather than weeks, and the schedule is confirmed in writing after the survey, not before.

Can you wrap the showers, the steam room or the sauna?

Moisture itself is not the problem — architectural films are moisture resistant, which is why a changing-room locker or a bathroom vanity is ordinary work, and the manufacturers even publish shower and bath applications for certain films with sealed edges. Our rule is simpler: we quote what we can stand behind in writing, and continuous direct water, steam-room saturation and sauna heat take long-term performance outside that line. So what Wrapt Interiors™ specifies in a changing area is the dry side — usually what dates the space anyway: lockers and bench joinery, vanity fronts, doors and frames, and the corridor walls leading in — with the scope drawn on the walk-round and honest counsel on each element.

How does it hold up in a busy gym?

Premium architectural film is engineered for daily contact and cleaning — doors, reception fronts and panelling that take hundreds of touches a day. Our finish films carry the manufacturers' own warranties against cracking, peeling and fade for up to 10 years, handed over as documents at completion with our workmanship cover alongside. Day to day it is wipe-clean: a damp cloth and a mild household cleaner, no abrasive pads, briefed once to your cleaning company. If a panel is damaged, that panel alone is re-wrapped.

Can you match our brand colours?

We get close, and we show you how close before you commit. We specify from over 1,500 architectural film finishes — Cover Styl’, Bodaq, 3M DI-NOC and LX Hausys — including a deep range of solid colours, so brand palettes are usually met from stock ranges. Bring us your colour reference and we sample against it at the survey, under your own gym lights, because colour is the one thing a screen will lie to you about. The visit ends with the choice settled.

Tell us the areas, the elements and the access windows your opening hours allow.

We arrange a survey, bring the film brands’ sample books so the shortlist is judged under your own lights, and follow with a written, itemised specification naming the exact film reference against each element.
