Your Front of House, Renewed —
Around Service, Not Instead of It.

A room sells before the menu does. Wrapt Interiors™ re-skins the surfaces yours is judged on — the wall the tables face, counter and servery fronts, booth panelling and dated table tops — in premium architectural film, applied in situ over the fit-out you already own.

The joinery stays, the layout stays, and only the surface changes: typically for up to 70% less than replacing the same elements, with the work placed inside your after-hours and shutdown windows.

Ideas for front of house

Five ways a room is renewed without a refit.

Nothing is torn out. The counter, the panelling, the booths and the tables stay exactly where they are — only the surface changes.

01

The Front-of-House Wall

Every room has the wall the tables face — the one it gets remembered by. A run of stone, a deep timber grain or a bold solid set inside framed panels turns the backdrop behind the pass or the banquette into the reason a photograph gets taken. It goes on in situ, over the wall and the panelling already there — no strip-out, no skip through your dining room.

02

Counters & Servery Fronts

The counter is where your customer stands and looks down. Front panels, bulkheads and servery returns are wrapped face and edge in one continuous finish, so the counter reads as a single material rather than a patched one. Care afterwards is a damp cloth and a mild cleaner — no abrasive pads or scouring creams — which is a fair regime to hand a shift that is already busy.

03

The Tables, Renewed

Dated table tops brought back onto one finish, instead of replaced a delivery at a time. Each piece is assessed at the survey — the top, the edge profile and the condition of the surface decide what we would wrap and what we would not. Wrapped tops then live the way any fine table does: a board where blades land, a mat or trivet where hot things do.

04

Booth Surrounds & Panelling

Booth surrounds, dado panelling, pillar cladding and the joinery between them, wrapped until the room settles into one palette rather than three refits. Film is the panel finish, not the cushion — the upholstery stays your upholsterer’s work, and we say so before you plan around us. The panels beside it come back looking new.

05

Programmed Around Service

Restaurants do not get a quiet week, so we work inside yours: after hours, on closed days, and through shutdown windows agreed before the first roll is cut. A larger room is phased area by area, so only part of the floor is out of use at a time. The programme is confirmed in writing after the survey, never promised before it.

Choosing the family

Which finishes carry a room people eat in.

Three families do most of the work in front of house. The difference between them is what you want the room to say once the tables are laid.

Wood for warmth people sit in. Oak, walnut and ash do in a dining room what timber has always done — they make people stay longer. The embossed ranges hold the grain as texture under the hand rather than as a printed picture, and one grain can run across booth panelling, a servery front and a table top so the room reads as a single material.

Stone for weight at the counter. Marble, travertine and poured concrete give a counter and a servery front the presence of a slab, finished in situ with no templating and no tear-out. Veining wants room to run: a stone that reads calm along a long counter arrives much louder on a narrow return — the kind of thing we say while walking your room.

Solids for your brand colour. Over 1,500 finishes include a deep range of solid colours in matte, satin and soft-touch, so there is real room to get close to a brand palette from stock ranges. We do not promise an exact match off a screen. Bring your colour reference to the survey, we hold the shortlist against your own wall in your own light, and the visit ends with the choice settled.

The finishes

A warm oak, a honed stone, or your own colour.

Good questions

What restaurant and café owners ask us.

Can we stay open while you work?

In most rooms, yes — by programming, not by magic. Restaurant work is placed in after-hours, closed days and shutdown windows agreed with your team before the first roll is cut, and a larger room is phased area by area so only part of the floor is out of use at a time. Where an element genuinely cannot be worked around trade, you hear that at the survey. The programme is confirmed in writing afterwards, not before.

Is a wrapped surface suitable for a restaurant?

A precise answer, because the question deserves one. Architectural film gives you a continuous, wipe-clean face: a damp cloth and a mild cleaner day to day, no abrasive pads or scouring creams, and your cleaning team briefed once. What we will not do is claim a hygiene or food-safety certification on your behalf. Where a published specification matters, the manufacturer's data sheet for the exact film is available on request and has the last word.

Can table tops really take restaurant use?

Honestly, and per piece — which is why the answer comes at the survey, not over the phone. We look at the top, the edge profile and the condition of the surface, and say plainly which tops we would wrap and which we would not; where a piece should not be, you hear it before you spend. Wrapped tops ask the sense any fine table does: a board under anything sharp, a mat or trivet where hot things land. The films carry their manufacturers' warranties against cracking, peeling and fade for up to 10 years.

If one panel or one table is damaged, what then?

That element alone is re-wrapped. Front of house is wrapped element by element — a wall panel, a counter front, a booth surround, a table top — so a trolley into a servery return or a knock on a panel is one element to put right, not a room to redo. It is done in situ, and it slots into the same after-hours window as everything else.
